The Menger Hotel has been in operation since 1859 and is well known as one of the oldest and best-preserved hotels in the city. In fact, the hotel boasts that some of its furnishings are ”museum-worthy”! The lobby is distinctly Victorian and the walls are adorned with photographs of the hotel’s glorious history and visitors (including several American presidents).
If you’re made of stronger stuff than most, you can even try catching a glimpse of one of these past presidents.
