It is home to San Luis Gonzaga Church. Said to be built in the 1800s, it’s a very popular spot in San Luis. The municipality is also the final resting place of Luis Taruc who organised the biggest resistance movement during World War 2. His remains were buried in San Luis Freedom Park in 2018.
