Located on the same property is the adorable hut made entirely by hand with cane. We love that the roof of the property is transparent, so you have plenty of light but can also look above and see the birds and the other creatures passing overhead. It is worth noting that the cabin has a fan to use during the hot weather. There is also a mosquito net, so you can be rest assured of a good night’s sleep.

The hosts at this site are also happy to help with booking tours and excursions. This rural property is nestled in the heart of an indigenous reserve and offers a unique experience for those of you that are a little bit more adventurous. This is a great option if you enjoy hiking, as you can access many river and mountain walks in close vicinity. Although a hut, this structure has an official name, an uslê. It is a traditional house of the Bribri people, the indigenous community that lives that in this area.
The property is comprised of two floors and, although it has a roof, it is mainly open-air and built on stilts. In total, up to six people can comfortably stay at the property with six single mattresses, a hammock, a shower, and three toilets.
