Created by American artist Frederic Clay Bartlett, the house features various artworks made and collected by him. In another gallery in the house, you can also find art made by his third wife. Sitting beside the New River, it was also used as a trading post and a community hall in its early years, making it one of the most significant structures in the history of Fort Lauderdale.
