Located in the Berkshire complex, this place has become a family favorite for residents of the surrounding neighborhoods. The menu comprises of pizzas, burgers, snacks coupled with cocktails, beer or wine. The restaurant also features firepits, cornhole, and a bocce ball court to keep the kids busy while waiting for food.

2. Folk Art Restaurant
This bright and cheery diner hosts vintage decor and serves delicious, homey food. It’s a great spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some of the popular items on the menu are pancakes, waffles, and omelets for breakfast. As for lunch, the popular choice is the go-big-or-go-home “bad to the bone” sandwich with roasted pork shoulder topped with collard green cole slaw and date chili bourbon barbecue sauce. Also unmissable at Folk Art is the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo. The kid’s menu here goes beyond the classics to includes everything from fried shrimp to French toast to Greek yogurt and granola.

This 1950s-esque dining experience has become super popular with families, the only downside being the tiring wait that may be too much to handle with kids. The food served is classic American diner food but the flavors and the taste really hit the spot when you’re craving a malt, hamburger or fries. Their kid’s menu is called the “Little Diners” menu and includes options such as grilled cheese, a kiddie Caesar salad and lot’s more interesting options that might just tempt an adult to order off it too.

4. Wrecking Bar Brewpub
The idea of a brewpub being a kid-friendly restaurant may not hit home with many but this spot will likely change your mind about that. This restaurant in Little Five Points is a popular family dining spot with a separate dining area for families. Chef Terry Koval and his team make use of farm-fresh ingredients from the restaurant’s own farm- Wrecking Barn and the menu changes often with the seasons. They also have a seasonal kid’s menu which includes options like a vegetable plate, steak, trout, burgers inter alia.

5. The Flying Biscuit Café
This spot is pretty famous in Atlanta and is a must-visit for locals and visitors. For over 20 years, people have been lining up to brunch at the Biscuit and the wait truly is worth it. There’s a coffee shop right across the street so you could grab a latte to pass the time. However, consider visiting during off-hours Monday through Thursday. The cozy restaurant serves breakfast classics all day besides other much-loved options like the meatloaf, fried green tomatoes, and Pimento cheese sandwich but the biscuits and love cakes here are the boss! What makes it more interesting is that there is a kid’s menu as well as kid portions on adults menu, giving your little one plenty of options to choose from including buttermilk pancakes, mac ‘n’ cheese, chicken strips and more. The kids can also color and do activities on the children’s menu.

A go-to favorite for many in Atlanta, the place features inclusionary signs adorning the walls, a toy and reading area for kids and ample street parking. It’s usually frequented by a lot of families so your kids are likely going to love the company. They serve the good old Southern pub fare and the chicken and waffles, fish and chips and juicy burgers here are amazing.

7. Mary Mac's Tea Room
The place has been cooking Southern favorites from scratch ever since 1945, for Atlanta residents and visitors including many celebrities. The place is known for its genuine southern hospitality and their homelike cooking method. They serve lunch and dinner daily and take orders through a form and pencil provided at each table. Menu options include a la carte items or all-you-can-eat southern specials served family-style for diners with big appetites. You could choose to have meatloaf, fried chicken, baked fish with over 30 different sides options.
