2. Kobe Airport
Kobe Airport is located on an artificial island in Kobe. It is easily accessible from the city via train, bus, and car. 4. Itami Airport (Osaka International Airport)
Itami Airport, formerly known as Osaka International Airport, was opened in 1939 in the heart of central Osaka. However, after the completion of Kansai International Airport in 1994, all of Itami’s international and some of its domestic operations shifted to Kansai Airport. Today, the airport operates a large number of domestic carriers to more than 30 destinations in Japan. It is widely used for travel in the country by locals and travellers alike. Itami is well-connected via monorail, train, and bus.
