Going to Las Animas from old town Puerto Vallarta takes two separate rides. Here is a detailed guide to help you with your transport.

Take the bus

From the old town of Puerto Vallarta, you need to take a bus to Boca de Tomatlan. You’ll find the bus station in Calle Constitución 383. The ride will only take 30 minutes, and buses leave every 10 to 15 minutes. The buses to Boco de Tomatlan are colored white and orange.

Take a water taxi

When you arrive at the Boca de Tomatlan pier, you need to take a water taxi that will provide you a ride to your destination - Las Animas Beach.
