This tent-only site sits along Icicle Creek sheltered by lush fir and pine trees within the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest. You can book a spot from mid-May to mid-September or sometimes till early October. Since the sites here are non-electric, it might not be ideal for meticulous guests and those with kids. Portable toilets, picnic tables, and a fire pit are available.
Nearby attractions include Stevens Pass Ski Area, Mt. Rainer National Park, and Stevens Pass Historic District.

2. Eightmile Campground
If you’re seeking camping spots that will let you immerse in nature 24/7, Eightmile Campground might pique your interest. If you’re looking to base your adventure in the Cascade Mountains region, Blu-Shastin RV Park is the perfect camping spot for you. This campground is situated in the middle of lush woods of fir and pine with Pehastin Creek flowing right by the property. It is a haven for all nature lovers, including retired people, families, couples, and adventure-seeking groups of friends.
Convenient amenities, such as clean bathrooms, picnic tables, and fire rings, are ready for guests’ use. A swimming pool, a volleyball court, and a playground are also on the premises. WiFi is a bonus. Besides full hookups for RVs, tent camping can be accommodated as well.

Since there are picnic tables and fire rings, all you’ll have to bring are your food and drinks.
From April 20 to October 15, you are welcome at Johnny Creek Campground. And the campground welcomes all types of campers, including families.

The concessionaire-operated Ida Creek Campground lies at the intersection of Icicle Creek and Ida Creek. There are 20 single sites to choose from and 2 vaulted toilets to share with other adventure-seekers. Pavement parking awaits those arriving by car. For RV campers, note that there are no hookups here, so you should plan about your water and electricity.

Chatter Creek Campground has a main campground with 12 single sites that follows a first-come-first-served concept and a group campsite that requires a reservation. Offering beautiful scenery, creek access, and convenient amenities such as a vault toilet, picnic tables, and potable water, this pet-friendly campground has the basic essentials you’ll need. Hookups are not available here.
Apart from the creek, nature walks are near the campground. The Chatter Creek Trail and Icicle Gorge Loop Trail are two of them. The Season opens on May 20 and closes on Sep 5.

10. Rock Island Campground

Rock Island Campground offers 20 single sites and 2 double sites on a first-come-first-served basis. Five vault toilets can be found on-site and are to be shared by campers. You can also find picnic tables and fire rings. This concessionaire-operated camping spot is close to swimming holes with water coming from Icicle Creek. Since there are picnic tables on-site, you can pack light. For hikers, Jack Trout Trailhead is one of the closes trails from the camp.
Note that sites here are not that big and huge RVs may not be ideal. Also, hookups aren’t provided here. The campground welcomes all campers, including fur babies. It is open during the spring, summer, and fall seasons.
