Events to look forward to

  • International Cherry Blossom Festival: The city of Macon plays host to the International Cherry Blossom Festival each March when more than 350,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom, allowing for a truly spectacular sight. Nightly concerts and a gift shop are organized at Carolyn Crayton Park in connection with the festival, and there are daily ride specials that are sure to entice the little ones. I would love to head over for the festival with my family!

Best for: Pool vacations

Pine Mountain RV Resort is an excellent option for families looking to bond and spend quality time together. Right on-site, you are invited to make a splash in the swimming pool before basking up in the sun. There is also a kids’ splash pool and steam showers that you can enjoy by appointment, and I think this makes the resort a perfect family destination. When your muscles are sore, it is a nice idea to step into the hot tub. Note that the pool, splash pad, and hot tub are available seasonally. There’s a store where you can purchase snacks and gifts.

In addition, the RV resort provides a wireless internet connection for entertainment. Guests will also find fire pits and picnic tables for outdoor enjoyment.

What guests are saying about their RV resort experience:

“As most RV parks(resorts) go this is better than most. It is an older park that is revitalizing itself with a new identity for camping…specifically different types of Yurts. The site we selected for a big rig was a pull through site with a narrow concrete slab to park. Once parked on the slab the grass came up to the edge of the rig. The cable TV was not great but adequate. We did not try the WIFI. The negative of the pull through sites is the that they are in wide open…no trees for shade. The sites are spacious. The pool is adequate. The location is convenient to all amenities in the area.” - by Google reviewer, Mike Flank

What guests are saying about their RV resort experience:

“Wow, what a great RV park. We were here in the off season, March, so many sites were open but in our opinion after checking out all the sites the gravel sites off Seaplane Drive are the most spacious with beautifully views of the lakes! Very quiet this time of year. The Game Changer game room & bar/restaurant were great, we went all 3 nights we were there playing bingo and trivia games along with the numerous games of chance! There are miles of paved roads and sidewalks for bike riding or hiking with beautifull lake views all over. The summer time water park looks great also!” - by Google reviewer, David Button
