As Macau is a city with a subtropical climate, the winter season is not harsh here. The temperature may drop significantly during winter, but most cold days are still sunny. The rest of the year is either sunny or rainy. When it is sunny, especially during summer and spring, the humidity levels may spike. Rainy days regularly happen, and typhoons come and go during summer and spring as well.

The best time to visit Macau is during autumn because this is when the heat and humidity begin to fade, welcoming the cold months.
