The street food, night market, and affordable luxury could receive the subsequent spots, but the vibrant nightlife is still the most alluring feature of Bangkok. And this fact is not concealed from the world as well; Bangkok gets almost the same annual visitors like the city of London, which is a big deal for a city from the third world country. While there is a global impression of naughtiness with the nightlife of Bangkok, we are just sticking with the clubbing. The nightclubs in Bangkok are usually more welcoming than we have seen in most places. Their house rules are loose, DJs plays by your request, and in fact, the entry is also free at most clubs. It’s not very easy to discover such kind-hearted locations in other countries. So if you’re also coming to experience this wonderful clubbing, pay attention to the following paragraphs as we list the names of the best nightclubs in Bangkok, Thailand.
1. NOIZ Night Club Bangkok
Let’s commence the list with NOIZ, a lovely nightclub of this city. It would be a perfect spot for you if you’re a fan of electro or hardcore techno type of genre. As the club is casual, it’s DJs are local; but the good thing is they don’t have cover charges. So your entry and re-entry are forever free here, just pay the drink charges. You have to take your ID card to avail the free entry, otherwise, they would charge you about 200 Baht (USD 6.4). NOIZ club has a fun atmosphere, and it’s suitable for group parties and events.

Opened very recently, BEAM is one of the few underground nightclubs of Bangkok. As they are the latest addition to this city, they tried to make everything modern here. Not only the quality of music is striking, but the club is also eye-catching due to laser and light shows. The dance floor is fairly large, and the club also arranges local and foreign DJs for events. Jasper James and Dean Dixon are coming this month. Surprisingly the entry is free and limited until the house gets to its full capacity. So come to BEAM and get freedom through music.

3. Black Pagoda
Now a decade old, Black Pagoda tries to give the picture of the nightlife of Bangkok. It’s an economical yet very exclusive type of nightclub you will see in this city. The place is small, dark, funky, and kinky. Despite being a DJ club, Black Pagoda actually meets the boundaries of burlesques. Yes, there will be nominal cover charges for late night performances but evening admissions are totally free. As far as music is a concern, they have both resident and guest DJs on schedule. Drinks options are great, and there is a pool table as well for some playful guests. This club can be a good choice for having events and underground parties.

Favela Nightclub is a recent addition here; it’s not even a year old and it has already become a popular place. This nightclub is strictly dedicated to Latin and Brazilian music–pay a visit if this is your thing. 5. Route66 Club
Editor's Note: Photo taken from the establishment's official social account
Route66 is the most amazing and popular nightclub of Bangkok, it’s not just a club it’s a concert hall as well. The place has amazing sound and outstanding visuals; the dance floor beneath the smoke and laser lights creates an incredible aura here. The DJs are great, too. They only get the best ones, thus mostly you will see guest DJs during events. Their musical genre is a mix, and you could even listen to Punjabi tracks as well. If you’re a foreigner, be ready to pay an entry fee–which is all right as the place doesn’t feel cheap. Moreover two-thirds of entry fee is received in vouchers which can be used in the bar. Speaking about the bar, it’s massive; you would rarely see such large bars in nightclubs.

6. Sing Sing Theater
This Chinese theater décor nightclub is one of a kind, which is why we have included this into our list. This is not a type of club where people get drunk and get to the dance floor, because there is more to see here. Along with the regular DJ dancing, people get the chance to see the most artistic form of Chinese dance and other performances. It’s so good that admission is free here; just don’t forget to come with your original photo ID–mobile screenshot won’t be accepted and no ID means no entry. Foreign DJs are often guest DJs here. Visit their website to find out the schedule for the next big event. Sing Sing Theater has a fine cocktail bar, too.

7. Onyx Bangkok

Posted by ONYX on Saturday, December 26, 2020
Onyx is indexed in the world’s top 100 nightclubs and you can see why–it’s a massive club with a capacity to hold and serve about 2,500 people. They have a cutting edge sound system, a team of visual artists, they are hosted by Bangkok’s leading DJs, and organize special shows every weekend. But that’s not all, because Onyx also keeps international DJ events in this megacity. This place has a multi-level bar, VIP booths, and dining arrangements. Unfortunately, they charge an admission fee to foreigners, which costs more on international events; but the entry fee includes a drink token, so it’s not too bad.

Address: Royal City Avenue (RCA), Soi Soonvijai, Rama IX Road, Bangkapi, Huaykwang, Bangkok 10130

Opening hours: 9pm - 2am (daily)
8. NARZ Club
There cannot be a better place for you if you’re into genres like EDM, trance, and techno. Because when every other nightclub brings their shutters down, NARZ will still be rocking. Yes, we know that the official timing says 2am at max, but this club mostly plays till the morning. In fact, the real parties start after midnight. So if you’re planning this place, try not to come before 11pm. There is an entry fee which gets you two drinks of your choice for free. However, better get a bottle anyway; this would get a group of four admitted for free.
NARZ Club
Address: 112 Sukhumvit, Soi 23 Road, Bangkok 10110
Website: NARZ Club
Opening hours: Tue - Sun: 8pm - 2am (closed on Mon)
9. VIOLETT
For the concluding spot, we have this old fashioned electro bar in Thonglor neighborhood. The industrial décor of this underground nightclub is really appealing. Violett has good music, a great vibe, and the best drinks. Although every night is different here with live events and performances, the type of music they play here is techno and trap hip-hop (mostly). The entry is also free so there is none reason for skipping this wonderful club when you’re roaming Thonglor and Ekkamai.
Violett

10. DJ Station
DJ Station at Silom is one of the crowded and most talked about clubs of Bangkok. The club has an image of a gay nightclub, but believe us it’s just the half-truth. Actually, this street is packed with so many gay bars, people actually assume that DJ Station is also an entirely gay bar. While in reality, this nightclub is open for everybody. The club has an amazing atmosphere, people are friendly, and they organize mini cabaret events every midnight. The club gets overfilled every night so be prepared. There is an entry fee here, which comes with two rounds of free drinks.
DJ Station
Address: 11 Silom 2/1, Silom, Khet Bang Rak, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10500

Enjoy Bangkok's nightlife, but be extra cautious
Although the city is considered safe, the pickpocket risks are still present. And then we have also read tourist experiences on getting rejected at the clubs upon showing the Xerox of identity-proof instead of the originals. Thus, when you go there with your real ID documents, such as passports, or driving licence; better not be drinking at all or stay extra attentive. Make sure to keep this in mind when enjoying Bangkok’s nightlife and trying out the best nightclubs in the city.
