Grand Rapids, Michigan is the second largest city in Michigan and the largest city in Western Michigan. It is located on the Grand River and about 50 kilometers (30 miles) west of Lake Michigan. With its proximity to the Grand River, Grand Rapids has the nickname of “River City.” Because of its climate, Grand Rapids is an excellent location for growing apples, peaches, and blueberries. San Chez Bistro opened in 1992. They began slowly and now serve breakfast, lunch, and tapas, which consists of delicious small plates or appetizers. San Chez Bistro serves European and Mediterranean cuisine in a friendly and casual atmosphere. They have a variety of other menus including a special menu for those with food allergies and for children.
