Geraldine was a wonderful host, her private Pink Room is immaculant exactly as shown in the if not better. This accommodation is set on four acres (1.6 hectares), thus is secluded and sitting on a hilltop surrounded by oak trees. The guest apartment on the 3rd floor was designed and built with visiting family and friends in mind. The house has been designed to have tall ceilings, oversized French doors, and big beautiful windows to allow natural light in. The floors are solid maple. This is my third time back, and it’s always a complete charm. Lily really did think of everything. This apartment is so cozy and lovely. Located just 3 minutes from the beach, this cozy place can surely guarantee you the secluded and private holiday that you yearn for. With very quiet and serene surroundings, this property has separate access from the back road through the luscious garden. You can also say it is a paradise tucked far away from the crowds and traffic. The property also boasts access to a beautiful waterfall and ocean view, with awesome hiking trails starting right from the gate. So if all you wanted to do was hike, kayak, mountain-bike, surf, or just lie around under the sun and enjoy the delicious and tasty fare offered by Malibu restaurants, you just need to come here.
This was one of my favorite Airbnbs of all time! The location was AMAZING and the guest house itself was perfect. We actually cooked quite a few meals there and easily took Ubers/Lyfts to dinner at night. Located on three acres (1.2 hectares) of canyon land, this home is a kind of wonderland, and a very private one at that. Situated in the beautiful coastal area of Southern California, the home offers some gorgeous sunset views. The views are amazing for one specific reason, the house is located at the top of a mountain in a very secluded spot. The hosts have friendly horses, donkeys, and a dog. This Airbnb room can accommodate two people, has a shared bathroom, wireless Internet as well as free parking; cleaning charges are additional. This Airbnb is located very close to nature and is in a great location for hiking, cycling, and also has access to trails.
SO grateful for this experience. Avi was out of town but Jessica was very responsive and very hospitable. The views from the house are stunning, as a fog rolls in and out of the mountains every morning. The sunsets and sunrise are so beautiful. The pictures can speak for themselves for this accommodation; you just want to jump into the computer screen looking at this lovely trailer. Living in a trailer is an amazing experience, especially if you like to be on the move. For city dwellers or people from outside the US, it is not very common to live on a trailer. So why not use this as a chance to experience it at least once in your lifetime? The trailer accommodates four people, has one bathroom, and two bedrooms equipped with thee beds. Bedroom one has one double bed and bedroom two has bunk beds, making it ideal for kids! Cleaning charges are for an additional fee. The travel trailer is small yet comfortable and reasonably private. The trailer has shared Wi-Fi and the host can provide you with a telephone line if need be. The trailer is slightly old and doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of a new RV. However, rest assured, it is clean and well maintained. It has heating, air conditioning, and even a radio! Wondering what is there to explore in the area? You will have access to hiking and walking trails on the property that spans about 250 acres (101 hectares). There is a citrus orchard, and if it is the right season, you could help yourself to fresh lemons. You could even have a picnic in the area and you could also walk around the hiking trails on the property.
Beautiful location in the hills above Malibu. Although the weather was cool and damp the RV was warm and cozy. Geraldine was a very gracious hostess and provided many recommendations for things to do and places to eat and worked hard to make sure our short stay very enjoyable. Brian

This property, called Rancho Chiquita, is located atop a mountain with sweeping views of the coastline and mountains, making it a quiet, romantic getaway. This accommodation is located in a family neighborhood nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains. It is a gated estate with no public transportation. There is private secure parking. You can use an Uber to pick you up and drop you off at Rancho Chiquita if you don’t have your own car available. The property is suitable for two people and cleaning charges are extra. The host is very helpful and you can ask her for recommendations on what to do, eat, and see in the area.
Wonderful! I’m not sure I have the words to adequately express how overjoyed we were to stay at Geraldine’s place. The accommodations, view, outdoor living spaces, hospitality and the proximity to the beach were just what we needed! Staying here was truly a moment in time for us that we will never forget. There is a private entrance, bathroom, and large bedroom with queen size bed, parking, Wi-Fi, a tv, coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. The house is surrounded by scenic mountains and beautiful views of nature. This Airbnb includes private bathroom and separate entrance. It is well separated from the main house. There is nature all around, with beautiful oaks everywhere. There are some great hikes in the area as well. There is a waterfall that is stunning in the wet season, which is just an easy hike away. There are lots of fun bars with live music nearby and many top restaurants in Malibu are easily accessible too.
Honestly our best ever experience with Airbnb and the highlight of our trip to CA. Words can’t describe what a wonderful stay this was for us. Leslie and Bill are two of the kindest, funniest and most welcoming people we’ve ever met, and just meeting them made the trip worth our while. It is perched atop a split level contemporary home and it features a self-contained suite with canyon and ocean views. The place has easy access to activities in Santa Monica, the South Bay, and downtown LA. This Airbnb has one bedroom and can accommodate up to three people. It is a studio unit, as mentioned above, and is kid-friendly. Cleaning charges are additional. The unit is approximately 760 square feet (70 sq m) — yes it is HUGE for a studio! There are high ceilings and lots of natural light. So what you get is bigger than what you may imagine! The property is about three miles (4.8 km) upward Canyon Road from the coast. It is right in between some of the best hiking, biking, and horse riding spots in LA (state and national parks). You can also find some of the best things to do in Malibu, like Zuma Beach and Surfrider Beach as well as Malibu’s wine country, easily accessible from here.
Susan was gracious generous and made a feel like staying at a friend’s house. She delivered breakfast in a rainstorm, had interesting conversations, and went out of her way to invite exploration of her knowledge of Malibu, vast properties, hot tub, creek, horse ranch etc. She may show up on horseback to greet you if you get lost. We were welcomed upon our arrival by Xavier, who enthusiastically showed us the house and went over the rules with us.
