Boston is Massachusetts’s largest city and is also one of the oldest cities in the United States of America. It was founded in 1630 and, since then, it has developed to become one of the biggest and most modernised cities of the USA. People come here to learn more about its role in history, with major local past events having included the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, and the Siege of Boston. In fact, Faneuil Hall reportedly attracts over 20 million visitors per year. Boston is also home to the USA’s first public school, first subway system, and first public park!

In a city that boasts so much history, you’re sure to want to bring your kids here to have them learn more. But don’t worry about them getting bored; with places like the Children’s Museum, Franklin Park Zoo, Fort Independence, Museum of Science, New England Aquarium, the cute carousel at Boston Common, beaches, and swan boats on Boston’s Public Garden, there’s plenty of other kid-friendly activities and attractions to be found too.

And, with that, here are the best family-friendly Airbnbs accommodations in Boston:

We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) Superhost status, recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and access to family-friendly amenities and activities. Nice, clean and spacious apartment. Beds were heavenly comfortable!!! Very clean rooms and bathroom. Hubway station close by for easy bike rental – approx. 15-20min ride to downtown Boston. Liang was very responsive and quickly answered questions that we had. Minus point: Kitchen was not very well equipped with utensils – no cutlery at all and only a few individual plates, bowls and glasses. Not ideal for people with heavy cooking intentions. Andrea

We loved Shana’s place. SO conveniently located close to a playground and to the train station and plenty of decent shops and restaurants. Her interior was well on the way to being nothing short of glamorous. The kitchen was beautiful. A note for folks travelling with kids - neighbours are pretty noisy so the sleeping was tough and there wasn’t much space on the property for the kids to run around BUT there is a playground just down the road which definitely helped. We’ll definitely stay there again. Courtney
