An absolute must-do thing at this attraction is to watch a Gidha Bhangra (a traditional Punjabi dance form) performance. These highly energetic folk dances are unique to the state of Punjab and are performed by women and men respectively. Besides the dances, you can also enjoy the rhythmic music accompanying the dances and the colourful costumes of the dancers. Sarson da saag and makki di roti

Besides being a cultural attraction, the Rangla Punjab Haveli is also a restaurant that serves the most scrumptious Punjabi buffets. They serve all-season favourites or seasonal specialities to delight their customers. A must-try dish during the winter months is makki di roti and sarson da saag. Makki di roti is a flatbread made from cornmeal and is usually accompanied by sarson da saag which is a spiced curry made from mustard greens. This is a speciality of Punjab and very popular in the winter.

Jaggery tea

Locally known as ‘gud waali chai’ or 'gud ki chai’, this is a hot beverage that is essentially a traditional Indian chai tea sweetened with jaggery. Though it may sound strange to you, this is a very popular beverage in the entire region of North India and is consumed with much enthusiasm in the winter.
