Located about 30 kilometres (18.64 miles) from Adelaide, Oakbank is known for the 160-year-old oak tree that still stands today. The town also hosts an annual horse race around Easter and draws many visitors during this period.
Additionally, Amy Gillett Bikeway is a popular activity for cyclists, and the 17-kilometre (10.56 mile) track to Mount Torrens begins in Oakbank. You can also head to Cobb’s Hill Estate and Murdoch Hill for wine tasting and gourmet platters.
