Situated in the east end of Stanley Park, Brockton Point Lighthouse has been standing tall since 1914. This is an amazing spot to see when in Vancouver. You can walk under the arches of the tower, along the shoreline.

If you enjoy sight-seeing while feeling the cool breeze, this is the place for you. Take a sit and rest on the benches along the pathway and watch seaplanes taking off. A lot of locals and tourists go biking and skating in the area, so it’s always lively.

6. The Seawall

14. Whytecliff Park

Whytecliff Park was established back in 1909 and was one of the first Marine Protected Areas in Canada, which means stopping here with your partner during your trip gives you a reasonable chance to see any of around 200 species native to the area. Take sea lions for instance: during the summer, they love to sunbathe on the beach! There are plenty of scuba diving opportunities to be had in Whytecliff Park, as well as ample hiking, swimming and other outdoor sporting activities. Be sure to stop by the Whytecliff Kitchen for a bite to eat while visiting the park.
