6. Linger
Tacos, buns and tostadas, plz. #regram @tastingkansascity
Posted by Linger on Thursday, 30 January 2020
Linger debuted in Downtown Denver in 2011 and the choice of its location took diners by surprise. It is housed in the former Olinger Mortuary building and builds upon the very theme to give the restaurant a quirky ambience. Gurneys turned into tables, toe tags turned into cocktail name tags, and apothecary bottles became water bottles. Although, the eccentricity and morbidity aside, Linger is every bit worth the visit for its food too. Try one of their Asian Fusion delights, perhaps the Korean barbecue tacos, Mongolian barbecue duck bao, or the Korean fried chicken and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Dine at this ’(m)eatuary’ and you’ll not regret it
