The Original Oyster House Seafood Restaurant initially opened in 1983. This particular branch on the Causeway, overlooking Mobile Bay, was opened in 1985. The property keeps expanding and now offers a full-service banquet room, gift shop, boat dock, and conference room. In 1993, two local men opened a casual, family-friendly seafood restaurant in Gulf Shores on the Gulf Coast. They are so popular, they have since expanded to five other states. They serve a range of seafood dishes for lunch and early dinner. Among their specials are “All you can eat steamed shrimp, served with corn, shrimp slaw, and new potatoes, every Tuesday. On Monday and Thursday, enjoy “All you can eat fish” with shrimp slaw, fritter, hushpuppies and a choice of new potatoes, potato salad or fries. Sunday and Wednesday offer include “All you can eat fried popcorn shrimp” with the same sides.
