If you’re in the area over the weekend, be sure to head to the beach and check out Serenity Bazaar, where you can pick up knick-knacks as gift items or for your own self as keepsakes of your trip to Pondicherry. Pro tip: if you’re good at bargaining, try to negotiate the prices of the items that you want to buy with the seller to get good discounts.

How to get there
Pondicherry has its own airport, which is located about 10 km (6.2 mi) from Serenity Beach. You can get a cab right from the airport to take you to the beach.
If you’re taking the train, the closest station is at Villupuram, which is approximately 50 km (30 mi) away. There are cabs there that you can get to take you to Serenity Beach.
There’s a bus terminal located at the center of Pondicherry, which is about 10 km (6.2 mi) from Serenity Beach. There are also cabs available at the station if you want to get a ride to get to the beach.
As mentioned earlier, there are cabs in the area that you can hail to take you to and from Serenity Beach. It is also possible for you to make arrangements with the cab driver to take you around the entire day.
There are car rental services available if you want to drive yourself. There is a parking lot right along Serenity Beach with plenty of spots so you shouldn’t have to worry about where you’ll be leaving your rental while you’re having fun at the beach.
