Destin is a small city located on the Emerald Coast of Florida, which lies in the northwestern part of this state. This is a peninsula between the Choctawhatchee Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, and the white sandy beaches and turquoise green water of this region make it a popular vacation destination on the map. Although being a small tourist town, Destin receives a significant number of visitors per year. And besides seeing the attractions, we all know that tourists will be interested in shopping. Hence, Trip101 is again here to help everyone who is making a plan to visit this city. Below, in this article, we have indexed the best shopping malls in Destin, Florida. Please stay on this page, and learn all about them.
1. The Shores Shopping Center
Let’s start this index with a mall that’s served Destin for over 40 years. It is ‘The Shores Shopping Center’. This strange little outside mall is located near the harbor, and it supplies nearly all the things that are needed for us. While the anchor stores in the property are just Hobby Lobby and Target, there are other shops as well. You will see here some salons, gift shops, cafés, and even a psychic studio. The locals usually prefer Donut Hole Bakery Café at this shopping center; they serve the best donuts and impeccable breakfast in town. Tourists also enjoy the shopping scene here.

Destin Commons is an open-air mall, and one of the nicest places you can visit in this city. However, it would be very difficult for you to explore the entire shopping center in a day. Destin Commons boasts over 95 stores that include some renowned chains, 20+ food establishments, as well as an IMAX movie theater. It may safely be said that this place has literally everything that we expect from a shopping mall. Then, there is also a play area, a splash pad, a toy train, and a fountain. Destin Commons is still a worthy visit when you’re not actually buying anything, just be sure to bring a good camera.

(nearly 16000 sq.m.), it’s also one of the largest shopping centers that Destin possesses. PetSmart, Big Buy, Big Lots are some of the leading anchor stores of this property. Furthermore, you will find clothing, art stores, and many smaller shops. If not for shopping, it is also very bright to visit this strip mall for mere eating out purposes. Here, you will find some reputed food chains, as well as an Italian and Chinese restaurant.

Just across the road from the location that we have discussed in the paragraph above, you will find this amazing strip mall. It is wider than Shoppes at Paradise Isles and boasts a further selection of storefronts than that. The anchor tenants on this property are AMC Movie Theater, Bed Bath & Beyond, Pier 1, and TGI Fridays, plus there are many more fine stores. Paradise Key at Kelly Plantation will show you restaurants, cigar shops, liquor stores, dressing stores, hair salons, and even a cat clinic. And yet, we are left with so many stores that are not listed in this heading. This outside mall is a really good place to spend many hours.

Moreno Plaza is located close to the most happening area of this town, Destin Harbor Boardwalk. It’s an old-style mall, and you will see a wide selection of storefront on this property. The notable businesses are an Irish pub, a sushi place, a restaurant, an ice cream shop, a liquor store, a fishing store, a boutique, and more. And you will even find wellness facilities within this plaza, such as a hair-studio and a spa-salon. Although the count of shopping stores is less at Moreno Plaza than all other options that we have shown you on this index, it is still a worthy visit if you’re in this area.
