Tapa is an award-winning restaurant serving innovative tapas dishes (small plates) crafted from the best quality imported Spanish ingredients. It is a converted warehouse, steps from the Shore and Ocean Terminal Shopping Center. The restaurant’s decor has the air of a Spanish bodega, with two dining rooms. The restaurant serves a selection of Iberian meat products, including the famous “Pata Negra” jamon (ham). Among the restaurant’s specialties are Morcilla de Burgos (Spanish black pudding served with a fried quail’s egg) and other tapas, including meat, fish, cheese and other ingredients. Tapa also has an extensive list of Spanish wines and sweet Manzanilla sherry.

Joe Conetta decided to bring a taste of Spain to Glasgow, Scotland. The restaurant became so popular that they opened other branches in Edinburgh and Aberdeen. This Edinburgh restaurant is located on George Street, Edinburgh’s main restaurant and shopping street. The restaurant has a décor reminiscent of Andalucia in Southern Spain.
