Choice of rooms to suit different budget expectations and group sizes

Jinda Resort has one main building, known as the Superior Building, with a few small bungalows on the opposite side of the resort’s pathway and to the rear of the grounds.

Bungalows can sleep two people in a double bed, and cost around 1,000 THB (approximately 28 USD) per night. Superior Rooms can also accommodate two guests, with a choice of one double bed or two single beds. The nightly price is around 1,200 THB (approximately 33.70 USD). There are also triple rooms available in the Superior Building, costing around 1,500 THB (approximately 42 USD) per night. The prices vary depending on the time of year.

Spacious and modern rooms with high standards of comfort

All rooms have air-conditioning and bathrooms with hot water showers. Clean and well-maintained, each room also has its own private terrace or balcony where you can enjoy relaxing outside.

Sink into the comfortable bed at the end of a busy day, crank up the air-conditioning, wrap up snugly under the warm blanket, and enjoy sweet dreams!

Other room facilities include a mini-refrigerator with complimentary bottled water and cable TV with English-speaking channels. Ample storage space is available, with a luggage rack, open-fronted cupboards, shelves, and drawers. A large mirror hangs on the wall in front of the desk / dressing table, and there is a stool.

The Superior Rooms have large windows and patio doors, creating a really bright and airy effect. Don’t worry about people seeing in though – the frosted glass ensures that your dignity can remain intact!

Lovely partitioned bathrooms

If you have been used to trying to shower in a wet room on your Thailand travels, you might like that fact that the bathrooms at Jinda Resort have a shower partition – no need to worry about soaking your towels, clothes, and toilet tissue!

A basic selection of mini toiletries is provided, and there are attractive pictures of traditional Thai life in the tiling.

Other resort facilities for a comfortable stay

The main pathway through the resort is edged with leafy plants and flowers, and there is a small stream within the grounds.

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the complex, and the signal in the farthest rooms from reception was strong and reliable at the time of stay.

The onsite restaurant serves an assortment of traditional Thai dishes and western favourites. Seafood dishes are particularly popular – no surprise really, given the resort’s island location! Whilst the restaurant, at the front of the resort, is just a short distance from all rooms, if you want a little more privacy you can also order food to be delivered to your room. Sit outside on your terrace / balcony and indulge in tasty home-made fare. The restaurant’s prices are also very reasonable when compared with neighbouring eateries.

A basic breakfast of toast with a cup of tea or coffee is included in the room rate.

There is an onsite tour office, with trips around the island’s jungles and waterfalls, boat trips to nearby islands, snorkelling excursions, and more. You can also rent scooters at Jinda Resort for some independent explorations. Be careful though – some of the roads on Koh Chang are very steep with sharp corners, and accidents are common.
