Mission Beach is a must-visit along the Australian East Coast journey, especially if you're on a low-budget trip like me. It offers paradise-like beaches and a wild atmosphere.
I'd gone with Greyhound and had a pass that allowed me to make all the trips I wanted along the East Coast for a month!
Here, I also had my first experience of Couchsurfing, that is staying for free with a stranger who also offers you food. If they have time, they may take you to browse places less touristy and known, as well
