The entry to the hotel is simple and elegant with a 3 story glass entry and modern steel canopy on the mid century building. The staff at the front door are waiting to welcome you as soon as you drive up to the hotel, greeting you with a smile and hello. Once you’ve entered into the light-filled lobby and check in with the valet, you walk to the check-in counter. The interior of the entry is sparsely decorated giving it a more open feel, the mirrors also help to open up the space. The lobby/living room has a bright modern, laid-back design. Light, wooden floors, white paneled walls with pops of color in the furniture give the check in area and lounge the comfortable, inviting feel of walking into a friend’s house and settling into the living room.

Guest rooms and dining at The Brice

The guest rooms are located on the second and third floors of the hotel and are decorated in white, charcoal gray and lime green. Abstract floral and geometric prints give interest to the design of the room. The low profile bed frames keep the clean lines of the room consistent and modern giving the room a bright, airy feel. The wood and metal furniture, accessories and lighting compliment the design by not overwhelming the room with their size. The desk has a large mirrored top that help to reflect light into the room, even though the window is very large and brings in tons of adequate light. The bathroom has a sink and toilet separate from the shower because of the lack of space, but overall it works well and doesn’t detract from the design. Wi-Fi is available in all of the rooms and the lobby as well.

Pacci is the restaurant at The Brice. It is an Italian restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, prepared with locally sourced ingredients and also features brunch. If you don’t have time for a full breakfast, coffee, smoothies, a juice bar and freshly made pastries are offered in the lobby as well. The outdoor patio and seating area are perfect for warm summer days because it sits in the inner courtyard of the hotel and provides a bit of the outdoors while still being protected from sun by umbrellas and trees.

One of the coolest things that the hotel offers for guests are the red bicycles that sit in the lobby near the front entrance. It’s a fun idea and gives people a way to opt out of taking a car or cab to get a around. Savannah is a very walkable city and with the heart of downtown just minutes away by foot, the hotel is conveniently located and easily accessible to many restaurants, shopping and attractions.
