2. Go for a jog at Environmental Park Ipiranga

Environmental Park Ipiranga is another excellent lush green park in the heart of the city. Known as the green lungs of Anápolis, the verdant park features acres and acres of landscaped grounds, trees, and flowering shrubs and plants. They all sit around a free-form lake, complete with water fountains and springs and even a lovely and cute bridge leading over it. The park even has a walking trail which is famous with the city’s joggers and runners. During evenings, there are even festivals and events held here.

Located in the Centro neighbourhood of Anápolis, the MAPA - Museu de Artes Plasticas de Anápolis is a cultural landmark not just to the city, but the region. It’s also one of the top four museums showcasing visual arts in the state of Goiás. Inaugurated in 1989, the museum features a collection of more than 500 artworks, paintings, showpieces, and creations. It features the works of both Brazilian and international artists and has also been adding new rooms and exhibits to its collection. What’s more, it also hosts a slew of temporary exhibits throughout the year.
