According to several geologists, it is only a matter of time before the bridge collapses due to erosion. The tombs are located in the west part of Ayia Napa and were used during the Roman and the Hellenistic period. So far, only 19 tombs have been discovered as well as a small alter but who knows how many tombs are there. The altar consists of a simple square room with irregular corners. Ayia Napa Aqueduct is one of the most important monuments in Ayia Napa. The aqueduct was the main supplier of clean water to the whole region from the hills between Agia Napa and Protaras.
