Palace Theatre was built in 1927 as part of McCulloh County’s cultural heritage. It was closed down in 1955 and later turned into a jewelry store. After many years, it was refurbished and reopened as a theatre in 2014. Locals and visitors can now once again catch great movies at this historic and beautiful structure. The theatre usually gives a schedule of all the upcoming shows, and all you have to do is check online and know what is lined up before you show up at the doors.

Heart of Texas Museum is in the old McCulloch County Jail building and it houses exhibits that tell the story of life way back at the beginning of the 20th century. Selah Springs will not disappoint you when you are in need of the ultimate outdoor adventure in Brady. The ranch was designed for large families or groups, mainly for reunions and events. It comprises of up to six self-contained cabins, and they are rented out to groups of at least 24. Lots of fun await large groups in the ranch. At the ranch, you will have the pleasure of hiking, shooting, fishing, playing horseshoes, swimming in the San Saba River, throwing washers, and climbing ropes among others. The fun will end only when the sun sets in or when you are too exhausted to engage in another activity - then you can have a restful stay in your cabins and do it all over again the next day.
