Cranberry Skate Park was assembled in June 2005. Located behind the community center the Cranberry Skate Park was a community project that brought people of Cranberry Township together to build a place where skateboarding and BMX enthusiasts can come together. The funding for the skatepark was sponsored by a local company and in the span of one day, the park was opened. 4. Tread the historic Venango Path

Venango Path was a Native American trail that ran between where the current city of Pittsburgh is and Presque Isle, Pennsylvania. George Washington traveled along the trail in December 1753 to deliver a message to the French at the nearby Native American village of Venango. Washington later survived an assassination attempt here by one of the Natives who offered to guide him back to Virginia. The path now is open to the public and worth the walk especially for those interested in colonial American history.
