2. See the beautiful Overtoun House

Built in the 19th century and set atop a hill with a view of River Clyde, Overtoun House in West Dunbartonshire is over 2.8 km (1.8 m) east of Dumbarton just a few miles from where Dumbarton Castle stands. Modeled after Scottish Baronial architecture, it was opened in 1862 and later donated to the town of Dumbarton in 1938. 3. Learn about local maritime history at The Denny Ship Model Experiment Tank

The Denny Ship Model Experiment Tank is part of Scottish Maritime Museum in Dumbarton. The museum was built in 1983 and has several locations in Scotland with Dumbarton being one of them. In the museum, there is a collection of historically significant boats, art, interesting and intriguing personal items, and the largest collection of shipbuilding materials and tools in the entire nation of Scotland. The museum is located on the site formerly known as William Denny Shipyard, and The Denny Ship Model Experiment Tank is known as the world’s first ship testing facility. 4. Surround yourself with nature at Geilston Garden

Property of National Trust for Scotland, Geilston Garden was built over 200 years ago, around 1797 and is located northwest of Cardross, Argyll, and Bute. It features a traditional walled garden, a kitchen garden, and a wooded area. Within the walled garden, there is a towering Wellingtonia tree standing 30.5 m (100 ft) tall. There is a kitchen garden that comes to life in April with many edible plants such as parsnips, beetroot, and carrots. Dubbed “the largest indoor skatepark in the United Kingdom,” Unit 23 is a vast, 17068-sq m (56000 sq ft) skatepark. Meadow Leisure Centre is a government-run fitness center whose primary objective is to help folks stay happy and healthy. Because they run with guidance and regulation from the government, safety is paramount. Because of this, all visits are pre-booked so that usage and capacity can be properly tracked and traced. Dumbarton Football Stadium is the home of Dumbarton Football Club. It is being hailed as The C&G Systems Stadium due to sponsorship. It was built in 2000 when its location was moved from the team’s former headquarters at Boghead Park. Levengrove Park is a fantastic piece of geography that is situated where River Levin meets River Clyde.
