We’re starting off the index with this exciting spot in Elkridge, this is Rockburn Skills Park. It’s a small-sized section in the relatively bigger Rockburn Branch Park, which is recognized for mountain biking trails. The park presents us three tracks altogether with first being the easy route, another for jumping and pumping, and the last as rock garden; where you could show your rock and log riding abilities. If you love mountain biking, then this is the best place to be in town.

Even if you’re a rookie hiker, you will still find the hike to the Cascade Fall pretty easy and basic. Its hike is rated easy on difficulty chart, and the fall is located no more than 20-minute away from the trailhead. That wouldn’t be a problem for the young and old people, however, mountain biking is not advised due to the boulders on the trail. Coming to the waterfall, it’s approximately 15 feet (4 meters) high, and shows a picturesque scene when frozen.

4. Check out the beauty of Belmont Manor & Historic Park
Although the chronicles of this estate dates back to the 17th century, the manor on this ground was built in the year of 1738 for a couple, named Caleb and Priscilla Dorsey. The possession of the property had moved to many owners in recent centuries, like the Smithsonian, American Chemical Society, and Howard Community College. But for the very last time, the mansion was sold to Howard County Recreation and Parks in the year 2012. They are now using estate’s 68 acres (27 hectares) of land for various recreational uses. Generally, there are private events, but when there aren’t, you can tour this scenic property.

You may like the outdoors, restaurants, or the historical place, but your little kids won’t behave like a grown-up. They would look for fun in all of your activities, and apparently, they will cry out when they realize that the place isn’t suitable for them. As a responsible parent, you should be giving them treats every once in a while. In the same vein, you can head to this amusement center with your children when you’re in Elkridge. 8. Take a look at the historic Troy Manor
Editor's Note: There's no photo available at the time of writing
This 17th-century mansion is located at the highest elevation point in the periphery of Troy Park. Although the park is open for free public use, Troy Manor is closed for construction reasons. The hilltop property is secured with fences from all sides, and you aren’t supposed to cross that or enter the building in any condition. Still, it is wonderful to be gazing at a heritage site that’s standing here for the last few centuries. Back in its time, this hill had several houses demolished. But one ruin is still left at close range from the mansion, check that out as well.

Green Valley Marketplaces features grocery items, fresh produce, seafood and meat, bakery, and a lot more. You can even find organic, GMO-free, and gluten-free foodstuffs from this convenience store.
