The complex has a capacity of 11,250 seats, and it is the home ground for the Elon University Phoenix football team. Schar Center at Elon University is a premier multipurpose arena and the home grounds to NC’s volleyball and basketball teams for both men and ladies. The Elon University Bell Tower was renamed Alan J. White Bell Tower to honor Alan White – the leading director of Elon’s athletics program for more than three decades. The tower is a campus landmark as well as a permanent monument to the northeastern section of the campus’ playground. Visiting the tower will teach you about Alan White’s exploits as the athletics director, as well as the various successes the university’s athletics team had under his stewardship. Walter C. Latham Park is a baseball venue in Latham and the home grounds to Elon Phoenix Baseball team. The park is within the beautiful campus of Elon, and it is a great place to watch a baseball game or any of the many events that are normally held on the grounds. The park has undergone a series of renovations and improvements to the extent that it can host night games with maximum attendance.
