See the beautiful Grotta del Turco. It is only 300 steps down to sea level where you can watch the water play with the light. See where pirates of old hid while waiting for their next prey. Unfortunately, for safety reasons those steps may be closed to the public. But you can still feel the excitement of those old time pirates and their thirst for booty as you stand at the top and look down into the Grotta del Turco and the sea. This is an excellent side trip on your way to or back from other landmarks.
