Take a trip about 36.6 meters (120 feet) below the Earth’s surface into a vast wonderland of stalactites and stalagmites. Lost World Caverns was discovered in 1942, and it’s a truly magical place for visitors of all ages to experience. Enjoy a self-guided tour around the cave so that you can explore the cavern at your own pace. Several information signs will tell you more about the many different formations.

This place is home to a private listening room where guests can enjoy individual performances of musicians, instrumentalists, vocalists, etc. Listening Room is also used for hosting small events like book launches, so make sure to drop by when you’re visiting the area.

11. Enjoy a fun day of picnicking at Dorie Miller Park
Dorie Miller Park is a large green oasis. This park is named after a brave young soldier, and it features a monument containing a bronze marker, with details of the young man’s acknowledged heroism. A visit here offers a lot of fun things to do. Dorie Miller Park is home to a softball field, several shelters for picnics, basketball courts and large playgrounds for children. Spend some time at this large and awe-inspiring park. Hollowell Park is blessed with a lush landscape and offers several activities to keep you engaged. It has a flat paved track for jogging or running, with occasional benches for resting. On-site you will find three baseball fields, a football field, a large picnic shelter with multiple tables, smaller shelters with individual tables and a paved skate park with numerous features. Hollowell Park is definitely the number one location to have complete outdoor fun with family and friends.
