Dorie Miller Park is a large green oasis. This park is named after a brave young soldier, and it features a monument containing a bronze marker, with details of the young man’s acknowledged heroism. A visit here offers a lot of fun things to do. Dorie Miller Park is home to a softball field, several shelters for picnics, basketball courts and large playgrounds for children. It is an excellent spot to visit for a family day out.
