A dream destination for many travelers is escaping to an idyllic tropical island, with beautiful sandy beaches. For those living in or visiting Australia, they can get a taste of tropical paradise simply by visiting Mission Beach. Mission Beach is located in the Cassowary Coast Region in Queensland, with the Coral Sea on the East. It was originally composed of various villages, which have now formed a single town. Nevertheless, Mission Beach retains that village way of life due to its tiny population and relaxing surroundings. That’s why it’s worth delving further in Mission Beach and discovering all the excellent outdoor activities it offers!

Tip from Content Creator
If you're traveling along the Australian East Coast on a low-budget trip like me, Mission Beach is a must-stop. It offers heavenly beaches and a wild atmosphere.
I'd gone with Greyhound and had a pass that allowed me to make all the trips I wanted along the East Coast for a month!
Here, I also had my first experience of Couchsurfing, that is staying for free with a stranger who also offers you food. If they have time, they may take you to browse places less touristy and known, as well
I would say that this stop is absolutely worth it!
