Built in 1947, the hall serves as a place for presidential inauguration and commemoration of the annual anniversary of the country’s independence. The area is sparkling clean and decorated with historical statues and red carpet. The building’s interior is ornate with pictures of Liberia’s past leaders as well as the country’s national colors which are red, white, and blue.
