Naciobal Wildlife Refuge Romelia is a reserve that is located in Montezuma. It is managed by the family that owns the grounds, despite the area being listed as a national wildlife refuge. It is home to wildlife and offers a beautiful sight of nature. One of the animals found here is the endangered turtle that is protected at this wildlife refuge. During your stay in Montezuma, you can volunteer at the sanctuary and be a part of a workforce dedicated to protecting these animals.
