This naturalistic parkland is situated on the banks of Cumberland River by the cove, and it’s a popular destination of this region. It’s a free admission site, and here you can have picnics, go fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and do more. Speaking of picnics, there are over 10 separate areas with patio and grills. Cedar Creek Recreation Area receives less traffic and it’s a family-style campground. The parkland is clean and free from rocks and boulders, you would love to have an extended picnic or camping at this location. This is another garden in Mt. Juliet that is easy to access. However, it’s not too wide but a tour can still be made. Sgt. Jerry Mundy Memorial Park features a nine-hole disc golf course, a playground, some pavilions, and restroom. But its mile-long (1.5 kilometers) track feels like that you’re strolling through the woods. Take off some minutes from your day and take a hike in this wonderful parkland.

6. Go fishing at Lone Branch Access Area

Lone Branch Access Area is clean parkland and yet another great place for fishing. It’s situated not very far from the Cedar Creek Campgrounds on the Old Hickory Lake, and you can actually get there if you have a kayak or boat. This park supports a boat ramp, has 14 picnic areas including two sheltered patios, and restrooms. Considering the fact that it’s a free ground, you can try this location as well. Anglers can easily hook some black bass, catfish, and crappies here.

William Owen Bradley is known as one of the chief architects of the country-pop genre ‘Nashville sound’ during the midst of the 20th century. He was the historic music producer and songwriter of this region, and this barn which he used to call the ‘Quonset Hut’ was his recording studio during the 1960s. He produced many great gems in this studio for at least a decade, and was later sold to Columbia Records. It is still a demo studio but inaccessible for the public.

There aren’t many dog parks out there, in fact, we have also not heard about one in a while. Luckily, Mt. Juliet has one, and it’s the best place in the whole Nashville region where you can play with your beloved canine. On another note, this is also a place to meet people with related interest and develop a friendship. So if you have a pet doggy and you’re also in this city, there is simply no reason to skip this amazing park. However, be advised that there aren’t any restrooms here.

The name of this place is Cedar Creek Yacht Club and it’s situated just around the corner of Lone Branch Access Area. This 61-acre (25 hectares) private marina club features recreational activities like boating, fishing, tubing, tennis, drinking, salt-water pool, etc; they have a church by the creek as well.

Just outside of the city limits of Mt. Juliet, you will find this boutique orchard on the right-hand side on Lebanon Road. Here, you can buy locally grown products such as smoothies, jam and jellies, apple cider, condiments, and more. Breeden’s Orchard grows peaches and apples mainly, but since they are a country store, too; you can have fresh vegetables at a reasonable price as well. Their farmer market is freely accessible during the given timing but a full tour of orchard would require a prior appointment.

Juliet and a little eastward of downtown Nashville is this beautiful 18-hole golf course, which is indeed challenging but not overly hard to master. Pine Creek Golf Course features well-groomed fairways along with all the elements of the game, support for cart, and very inexpensive play charges. If you’re in Nashville region, then there isn’t any greater golf range than this one.
