Its journey began in 1982 when the Oshawa Civic Auditorium Corporation formed a committee to establish the Sports Hall of Fame. It takes great pride in recognizing and honoring Oshawa’s sporting legends who have achieved prominence and distinction, as well as those who have made significant contributions to sports development. It also facilitates the induction of new teams.
