The building has two floors, both of which educate the people about the history of Puerto Montt, and Chile, and the German colonization. It has interesting artifacts and specimens put on display, such as fossils, models demonstrating the formation of glaciers, beautiful drawings, rock samples, weapons, and many more intriguing curios, the most remarkable of them being the mammoth which is exactly the real size. Everything inside the museum is worth photographing. The entry to the museum is free, and at a stone’s throw is a bus terminal, so reaching there is no trouble at all.
