One of Venice’s most celebrated sights, Rialto Bridge is the distinctive stone arch bridge that connects San Marco and San Polo. This bridge over the Grand Canal was constructed between 1588 and 1591 and spans 7.5-meter (24-feet). The bridge consists of three walkways, two go along the outer sides and the central one, which is lined with dozens of small shops, leads to the portico.
