1. Tour the magical Lake Kaltwassersee in summer
✖️have a good sunday - here’s a shot from the kaltwassersee in seefeld/tyrol ✖️ #visittirol #visitaustria...
Posted by BIZCOMBURNZ - Craft Film Production on Sunday, 14 April 2019
The most intriguing thing about Lake Kaltwassersee is that it was constructed to act as a water reservoir for producing artificial snow. Austria is natural a cold country, and always covered with snow for most parts of the year, and so it may appear strange to have artificial production of snow when there are lots of ski sites around the country. The lake has a capacity of about 70,000 cubic meters (2,472,026 cubic feet) used for supplying the over 180 canons of snow in the Rosshutte skiing area. During the summer, the lake transforms into epic beauty and ideal for walking by the shores breathing in fresh mountain air.
