Ralph Edwards Park is a great little park in town that’s perfect for bringing the dog for a walk, having a picnic with the family or enjoying one of the many events the town of Truth or Consequences holds every year next to the Rio Grande. Ralph Edwards essentially gave the town its name as he was an NBC Radio host in the 1950s who said that any town that changes its name to his famous radio show (Truth or Consequences) would be the next location for the show’s broadcast. So the town of Hot Springs became the town of Truth or Consequences and they named this park after him.
