Ibiza, it’s not just for the party. Sure, the partying gave Ibiza its popularity, but we shouldn’t forget that we are talking about a beautiful island offering wonderful landscapes and beaches.

If you are looking for a quiet and family location to spend your summer holiday, it could be the town of Santa Eulalia del Rio in Spain. Here you have plenty of activities to do and natural spots to relax. What are you waiting for? Take a look at the options and see if it fits your vacation!

1. Visit beautiful beaches

Santa Eulalia del Rio is a bit more relaxing than most towns in Ibiza, that’s what makes its beaches really special. Two great spots to enjoy them are the Es Canar beach and the Mariners Beach.

Es Canar is a 350-meter long beach, with white sand and calm waters. The beach is very safe for children because the sea is very shallow. And if you are lucky enough to go on a Wednesday, you can end your beach day at the Es Canar hippy market, the most famous night market on the island. And if you are looking for a well located spot, full of restaurants and all the comforts you might need, that is Mariner’s beach with several beach restaurants and bars lining the promenade.

This is where you’ll truly experiment the essence of Ibiza. Stroll through pine forests and reach the small 19th century chapel on the top of the hill, the Ermita de “Sa Creu d'en Ribes,” with magnificent views overlooking the towns below and the sea. Soak in the details of the landscape and the nature of the forest. If you want your body, mind and spirit to be at peace, this is the kind of experience that will align them. Just bring a bottle of water, sunscreen and relax.
