Paul’s private room was in a wonderful location being only blocks away from Cannery Row and about a 10 minute drive to the scenic 17 Mile Drive through Pebble Beach. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stay and really appreciated Paul’s suggestions on great places to eat and enjoy delicious craft beer. Next time I’m in Monterrey I would definitely consider staying here again.

Wonderful value. The bathroom and bed are very clean and comfortable. The space heater in the room supplements heats well. There are Steep stairs to the bedroom so not for all. Lovely 15-minute walk to lots of restaurants. On the quiet residential street. Fully stocked kitchen a plus. Appreciated cereal, milk, fruit, and bread in the morning. We enjoyed our stay very much on our first visit to the Monterey area.

This bright and cheery space is little funky but super comfortable! The positive factor about this place is its close proximity to so many wonderful things the Monterey area has to offer. Downtown Monterey is about 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) away or about 10 minutes by car. Freeway access to Highway 1 north and south is very close to this place. The host mentions that Monterey Bay Aquarium guest passes for two are also included in the room rate. A continental breakfast is available before you set out to explore!

Traci’s place is awesome! It’s very conveniently located - it took us about 10 minutes to drive to Cannery Row, the aquarium, and downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, the little apartment was clean and had everything we needed, even a nice breakfast! Her dogs were also adorable! We had to change the date of our trip a couple of times and Traci was extremely accommodating. She is a wonderful host and I highly recommend her!

Great location in a quiet neighborhood. A couple of blocks from Dennis the Menace Park and a 5-10 minute walk to downtown and Fisherman’s Wharf areas. The local garage band was good and didn’t go into the night too long. Nicole stocks the apartment with plenty of snacks and coffee/tea. The place is small but a good space for 2 people, any more and could be a bit cramped. Highly recommend the Richard living option. He is a sweet and quiet cat and super cuddly. Loves to snuggle, play, look out the window, and enjoys watching Parks and Rec via Netflix on the Laptop. His only downfall….he does not realize he isn’t kitten size Would rent again our next time down if the place were available. Thanks Nicole Drew and Lena

Steven was taking care of us during the two days stay. He is a conversationalist and very nice to everyone. We talked a lot and he also invited us to join the live music show in the downtown with his friends. That is the major reason to stay in AirBnB, not in hotel. The house is located in the wood. It is quiet, peace, also very dark during the night. We met four deers passing the road 50 meters away from the house when we drove back at night. That was amazing experience!

My family had a wonderful time at Dana’s. Plenty of space for everyone and the hot tub was amazing to soak and relax in after a day of sightseeing. So my dad and I checked in here and we were suppose to arrive around 7pm, but we got done working at point reyes and arrived close to 11pm and Lee was so patient and so kind the whole entire time. We really couldn’t of asked for a better host. He greeted us with a warm smile, gave us recommendations, walked through the place with us. The photos made the place look a little small in my opinion, but when we got there, the area was pretty big! 10/10 would recommend to all my friends. Thank you, Lee, for being so kind!
