Alsip is a suburban village located on the Southwest border of Chicago. Being quite small, you will not find the huge attractions that the city has to offer. But they do have a few family-friendly things to do with the kids. Mt. Greenwood Park has both indoor and outdoor recreational activities. Small town charm
Sitting on the border of the windy city is the village of Alsip. While it does not offer large amusement parks or shopping centers, it does have a small town charm. The town includes some lovely parks and nature areas for walking, biking and just enjoying an afternoon picnic. When you want to explore the city of Chicago and all of the large attractions it has to offer, there are bus stops or the express train, the Metra, located throughout the area.
