Circleville is a city in and the county seat of Pickaway County, Ohio, United States, along the Scioto River. This is a small town that gained fame and its name from a circle drawn in the Hopewell style located in its square, dating back to the early centuries of the Common Era. The Hopewell tradition stems from a Native American culture. You won’t be able to see the circle anymore as the design has been changed, but you’ll be able to see many other Hopewell style monuments in Ohio Valley.
