This entire flat, just 50 meters from the beach is, by the owner’s own admission, fairly basic and unfussy accommodation. Nonetheless, it is a perfect place to stay during your break in Holbox, as it is located just 50 meters (165ft) from the beach and includes air conditioning, your own fridge, and a private bathroom. This is an ideal rental for couples, or for traveling parties up to four people. It has its own private entrance too, which makes it feel like a genuine home from home.

This little hotel, comprised of four rooms with minibar, is a perfect place to stay if you are spending time in Holbox. Each room can sleep as many as four guests and contains a minibar and ensuite bathroom. This charming bijou accommodation is a perfect microcosm of Holbox itself. It’s small and quiet, but full of charm and definitively individual. The host at the accommodation offers to be your guide for a tour of the island, or simply to offer you tips on where to go and what to see while there. The owner of this accommodation makes it clear that they are not the most opulent, but as he points out, the best feature is their location. This could not be truer as they are right on the beach and offer a beautiful view of the Holbox coastline. The rooms are far from uncomfortable, though, as they have been renovated to offer all of the important conveniences including a private bathroom. WiFi is available at the accommodation, although it can only be accessed at reception.

This charming accommodation which is named for the legendary Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, is found just five minutes from the downtown area and about the same distance from the beach.
