The highlight of this self-contained rental has to be the fact that it is nestled into the hosts’ beautiful, certified organic lamb farm, just 15 minutes’ drive west of Stanthorpe. The hosts have gone out of their way to decorate the rental using only sustainable or salvaged materials and furnishings and this makes it very homey. We also love the spaciousness and the outdoor patio areas of the rental, plus the cute lambs on site. What more could you need?

Within 20 minutes’ walking distance to the high street, with its wide selection of shops and eateries, this older style cottage is perfect for up to six guests. If you’re looking for something to do further afield, there are plenty of wineries and National Parks to explore. After a busy day, you’ll be happy to come back and rest in this cosy property. It is simply decorated and you might need to stock up the kitchen. Because there is no WiFi, you’ll soon be socializing around the fireplace.

This 100-year-old family cottage suits everything from a romantic couple getaway to a whole family outing. There is a fully stocked kitchen but if you don’t feel like cooking, there is an award-winning Italian restaurant just a short walk from the property. There are a number of different renting options, so be sure to contact the host directly. Worth noting that there is no WiFi but we think that this adds to the charm!
