Utah is also known as the Beehive State. Its title was derived from its old nickname, “State of Deseret.” Deseret, which means honeybee in the book of Mormon, was the name given to the first group of Mormon settlers in Utah. Citizens of Utah also see honeybees as a fitting description of how each other contributes to building a thriving community. Besides being a diverse nation, Utah is also known for its breathtaking natural wonders. Its topography is defined by mountains, plateaus, deserts, waterfalls, and canyons. Make the most of your vacation by going on a hiking trip to Moab, witnessing the otherworldly beauty of Delicate Arch, soaking in the natural pools beneath the scenic Bridal Veil Falls, or enjoying skiing on Powder Mountain in Eden. Tip from Content Creator
This property will be a great base to hike the Narrows in Zion National Park since it is only a 35-minute drive away. If you are hiking it in the winter, we have some important tips for you. Make sure that your neoprene booties are well sealed and don't have any cuts/holes.
Also watch for large icicles and avoid walking close to the canyon walls if possible. Even though it is cold outside, exploring the Narrows is tough because you will be fighting the currents and trying to balance yourself. It can be quite a workout, so bring a lot of water to stay hydrated!
